Recommendations for your bedroom
Considering we spend most of our lifetime in the bedroom, the first line of defence would be to make sure everything in our bedroom is dust mite allergy proof. Reducing dust in the bedroom is important especially since dust mites grow well in mattresses, pillows, and bedding. It is suggested to switch to hardwood floors in the bedroom if possible and the use of dehumidifiers and air purifiers should clean the air and bring down the humidity in the bedroom below 50% making it hard for the dust mites to grow. Special allergy proof bedding helps prevent contact with dust mite allergens on bed.
