For those of you who are looking for a unit that offers powerful cooling at a great price, then Amcor AMC1000M could be just the thing. It offers a 8300 btu/h cooling capacity suitable for rooms up to about 25 square metres and can dehumidify the air by up to 28 litres a day, to reduce uncomfortable high humidity. It has a simple to use control panel, with an 8 hour timer and thermostatic control. It has 2 fan speeds and directional air flow vents, so you can direct the air just where you want it. It also uses the evaporative booster mechanism, which utilises the moisture extracted to improve the cooling capability. As well as cooling the air, it has a washable filter and an odour absorbing charcoal filter. It needs to be vented out through a wall or window, and comes with a 1.5m hose and all necessary fittings.
