When you receive your first tube, we recommend that you shampoo, rinse & repeat every day for 3 days in a row. Then, use as often as needed to maintain a clean, smooth, flake-free scalp! For minimum effectiveness, use a ZEAL shampoo at least twice a week.

How do I apply ZEAL?
Wet hair. Lightly massage ZEAL Shampoo with your fingertips over your entire scalp for about 1 minute. Even & thorough distribution prevents further scalp problems. You can rinse & repeat if you like. If you need conditioning, apply ZEAL Conditioner to the hair to detangle & repair before combing. Always comb or brush your hair with gentle strokes & never scrape the scalp.

Can I use ZEAL on my face and body?
Absolutely! Our cleansing system is much gentler than many liquid soaps & body washes. Sensitive skin will love how the mild-acting suds cleanse without stripping or irritating. Skin suffering from eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis deserves a silky soft wash in conjunction with your doctor's prescription.

Always hold hairsprays at least 6 inches away from the scalp & never apply alcohol based products directly on the scalp.

Should I see a dermatologist before using ZEAL?

Do I have to stop using stylers?
Style with care. If you use an alcohol-based hair spray, be sure to keep it at least 6 inches from your scalp when spraying; avoid directly spraying on your scalp. Build-up causes flaking.

Is it okay to shampoo every day?
With ZEAL, yes. But very hot water can dry the scalp & contribute to itching & flaking. Adjust your shower temperature to tepid (luke-warm) while shampooing & rinsing your hair. This will help alleviate irritation to sensitive scalp when you shampoo daily. Of course, ZEAL offers further protection.

Can I still blow dry my hair?
Do not set your blow dryer to hot. It is best to use only cool or warm settings to preserve hair moisture & prevent scalp dehydration.

Must I stop coloring or perming my hair?
Not at all. Continue to color or perm your hair as your hairstylist recommends. Zeal will not strip color or degrade your curls. If your hair is damaged, ZEAL will help to restore its softness & shine. Healthy hair is naturally beautiful.
