This beautiful desk lamp is fitted with a UV bulb to treat a wide range of health issues. It has been discovederd that since people have been more aware of skin cancer and the dangers of over exposure to the sun, that many other conditions have increased. It seems that contrary to current doctrine, we are more at risk for lack of exposure to sunlight than to over exposure. Rates of skin cancer have been found to be higher amongst office workers than in people who work outdoors, and there seems to be clear indication that the benefits of sunlight far outweigh the dangers of moderate sun exposure. UV light is essential for production of vitamin D and other minerals, which are necessary for the absorbtion of Calcium, necessary for healthy teeth and bones. It is of course of great benefit for psoriasis sufferers, but has also been found to be able to signifcantly lower cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, it increases heart efficiency and improves ECG readings, and increases sex hormones too. Click here to find out more about the benefits of UV light.
